Tab Sidebar is a Chrome extension that displays your browser tabs in a vertical sidebar panel. It is designed to operate entirely within your browser and does not collect, transmit, or share any user data.
Tab Sidebar does not collect any personal information or usage data. Specifically:
• No analytics or tracking scripts are included.
• No data is sent to any external server.
• No user accounts or sign-ins are required.
• No cookies are set by the extension.
Tab Sidebar uses Chrome's built-in storage API (chrome.storage.local) to save your preferences (such as theme choice) and any groups or sessions you choose to save. This data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted externally.
The extension requests the following Chrome permissions:
• tabs and tabGroups — to read and display your open tabs and groups in the sidebar.
• storage — to save your preferences and saved sessions locally.
• sidePanel — to display the sidebar interface.
• favicon — to show tab icons.
• contextMenus — to provide right-click actions on tabs.
These permissions are used solely to provide the extension's functionality. No data accessed through these permissions is collected or shared.
Tab Sidebar does not integrate with any third-party services, APIs, or analytics platforms.
